Cellular rate plans are
everywhere, but what are they? A rate plan is the monthly contract
that you agree to pay for your cell phone service. There are many
different cellular rate plans, but most of them work in the same way.
You decide how many minutes
you need each month and then find a plan that offers that many minutes.
The cellular rate plan does not include any extra features your phone
may have like text messaging or mobile Internet access; these services
will be extra monthly charges. The per minute charges will vary with
each provider and usually the more minutes you buy the better the
price that you will get.
But if you go
over the amount of minutes in your cell phone rate plan you will be
charged a per minute fee that will be more expensive than the minutes
on your monthly plan. So the trick is to find a cellular rate plan
that provides the amount of minutes you will use without going over.
